The Austrian Clean Capital GmbH (CC), based in Garsten, was founded in 2010 – the same year as enernovum – for the project development of PV plants. After both companies already closed the joint venture CCEN (Clean Capital Enernovum) in Italy in 2017, CCE Holding was launched together with an investor in 2021. The aim is to be a fully integrated Independent Power Producer (IPP). This is how the energy transition will be actively shaped.

Sustainability goes beyond the development of a project. Together, the partners of CCE Holding bring together the know-how of development, the capital required for construction, and the expertise to operate PV plants and market the electricity generated.

Other joint projects deal with energy storage and the associated flexibility, as well as hydrogen production.

In a first step, the holding company acquired PV projects with a total nominal capacity of around 500 MWp. With sites throughout Europe and Chile, the two companies currently have a project pipeline of almost three gigawatts of nominal capacity.
