Securing the future with renewable energies

enernovum is a company headquartered in Cologne, Germany. It was founded in 2010 for the acquisition of already connected photovoltaic plants and the development of ground-mounted PV projects.

In the years following, enernovum saw continuous growth in its portfolio through its branches in Germany and sunny Italy. Today, its core competence lies in the development of so-called “grid parity” PV projects – i.e. those that are economically viable without government subsidies.

enernovum would like to use its know-how to help achieve climate targets and thus enable the energy transition. For some years now, Clean Capital Energy, a company headquartered in Austria, has been involved in further development as a key partner. Therefore, in Italy in 2017, both PV experts founded the joint venture CCEN and the joint CCE Holding in 2021, with the aim of being a fully integrated Independent Power Producer (IPP) – i.e. an independent operator of solar power plants.

As a result, the group is now able to map all levels in the value chain, from project development to the construction of PV plants and their financing, all the way to energy sales.
